Lack of documentation

Hi

I am currently trying to write some code that reads the WLAN SSID. There is very little documentation about this at all. I can find NO reference documentation at all, a few small examples in the technical library, that do not cover what I need, and the .h header files. I am completely stuck trying to use this undocumented API.

It turns out that my problem was that ApAccessPointItem->ReadTextL(EApWlanNetworkName, ssid)

returns an SSID as a 16 bit (wide char) string. In the IEEE 802.11 specification it is very clear that a SSID is an 8 bit string.

This call was failing with the confusing "InvalidColumn" error.
