Maybe there could be something like what PyS60 is doing. They offer the normal selfsigned package and then a second version that it pre-built to include all the capabilities but is unsigned so that it can be signed after downloading.

Ok, I'll see what I can do.Originally Posted by lakiolen
Hi,
I just downloaded and sent the raccoon_bundle_0_9_0_with_pys60_1_3_17_3rdEd.sis
via Bluetooth to a E70, but after a few seconds the installation stopps with a certificate error.
No confirmation dialogs appeared to ask me, if I really want to install the software, it just stopped.
The firmware of the E70 is 2.0618.07.10, Raccoon was not installed previously, nor Python.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Dusan
Start the application manager (on N80 its App. mgr. under Tools), invoke [Options]->[Settings] and check whether Software Installation is set as All (and not Signed only).Originally Posted by dzct
Yes, that was the point (however, on the E70 the the application manager isOriginally Posted by jhnwkmn

answers to connect requests on 127.0.0.1 -- looks very nice. Thanks a lot :-)
Can you tell me, how long it usually takes to setup a gateway account?
I sent a mail quite a while ago, but did not get any answer so far.
If the demand for the service is too high, just tell me; I was going to setup my own gateway anyway,
but with your service the first steps could be faster.
Thanks again :-)

Rarely it takes more than a day.
