I searched the forum, and I have found 3 reasons:
- memory card is removed
- memory is running low
- user closes application from task bar
What may be other reasons, that system sends EEikCmdExit command to application? Where can I find it?

Hi szmytek,
In 3rd Edition User select RedKey(EKeyNo/EPhoneEnd) this time also system sends EEikCmdExit.

Thx for reply sriramadasu.
I have found one more reason:
- application is about to be uninstalled
and there is something weird on N93, try this:
1. Start camera in "normal screen position" and put it to background
2. Start application (f.e. Internet Browser) in "normal screen position" and put in background
3. Start camera from task list (still in "normal screen position")
4. Rotate to "big" camera
5. Open task list - there is no Internet Browser
I have found, that in this case application also gets EEikCmdExit from system. Probably this is problem in SymbianOS on N93. Does anybody know about similiar problems on N95 (or other devices, also)?
This could probably be due to memory issues, ie. the browser being closed due to low memory..
I have observed Symbian OS behaving very differently based on the device. Some N91 devices (s/w version: V 3.00.060 03-11-06 RM-43 N91), after opening native browser, Symbian OS sending EikCmdExit to my application.
I believe Symbian has some algorithm to select which application to close and some thresholds for this trigger.
My point is, in some devices Symbian OS sends EikCmdExit after starting multiple memory intensive applications ( gallary, camera etc). But some other devices, it is just starting a native application ( like a browser).
