Hi,

1)I wanted to know if the account id/ short name is mandatory for the SMSC? Is there any other way to send messages to the SMSC from a mobile phone?
2)Is it possible to have a different set of login username/password for send and receive?
3)Can anyone give me a sample message in UCS-2 format which I can use for testing? Also should it be sent as binary data?

Hi,

1) Yes. That is mandatory. There is no other way.
2) No. There is one username/password for each account.
If you need two different usernames/passwords you need two accounts.
3) I try to find a answer for this. I will return on this later...
