The Nokia 31 GSM Connectivity Terminal is equipped with an integrated internal antenna. It is also possible to use an external antenna with a standard FME connector. Nokia provides a special cable as an adapter between the Nokia 31 and FME connectors (accessory). For example, when the terminal is situated inside the customer's application, which is made of metal, the antenna can be located outside the application using an external antenna cable.
