Certification Generator

Where can i d/l the certification generator as i have no idea how to create the key pairs??Or someone can explain to me step by step how to create the private key and cer.key coz i couldn't understand even though i've read the tutorial.Thks.

you could type something like this in a command prompt:

makekeys -cert -password mypwd -dname "CN=my name OU=Freeware OR=development EM=myname@mymail.com" Mycer.key Mycer.cer

could you explain in details the steps you are trying and what are the results, would propably help on determining what you are doing wrong.

Hiiii...

Please follow the steps to generate the certificate files for signing in Carbide.ui tool:

1. Goto Tools->Handle key pairs->New
2. As u click new, a dialog opens, mention any name for the key
pair.
3. Click on Make key...Fill the details and then say Generate.
4. Choose "Save" and close the wizard.
5. Your key pairs are ready to use...

I have created 2 file, certificate file and keyfile. But If I install in my phone (N73), still Certificate Error Message. Can you help me ?

What is the error you get ?
What device are you using ?
What capabilities have you defined for the executables ?
Also, did you check that application manager's settings do allow inatalling self-signed applications ?

My Device N73,I have defined capability installation.In my device show "Install sampleTheme ? " and online cert check in application manager only 3 items Must Be passed,on,off) i have try all. But error message still "Certificate Error ! Contact to supplier"

What capabilities have you defined for the executables ?
(means that what in the executables mmp file , what have you defined)

In application manager, set the allow installing to all, and disable the on-line chckings.
