This error has been reported previously (search for instance on "path1"). It seems that the error could be due to your Windows being on D-drive. If that is the case, pls make sure that also Carbide.vs, S60 SDKs and your projects all are on the D-drive.

Thank you mitts my friend... There's only one source about this problem and its a thread on forum.nokia.com

I saw you helping the guy in that thread but the thread is not ended in a conclusion. So its useless.

By the way Windows and SDKs and VC++ are all in the same drive (c:).

    Thanks

There must be something unusual in the environment, would just need to figure out what.. Can you create non-Symbian projects into the same directory as Symbian projects with VS? What OS language version do you use?

    Language of windows is English...
In fact its English, however i changed it to Turkish by "Area & language options".
That could cause the problem, i will try it...

Yeah, i can create win32 console applications and win32 windows application with no problem occuring.

Thats why i think its about carbide.vs

    Any further help please?
    Thanks

Could it be that you use a special Turkish character somewhere in some of the paths that you have? What about your own home directory?

No i don't use special turkish characters.

    The paths are:

    c:\symbian\dev (projects)
    c:\symbian\7.0s\series60_v21\epoc32

    EPOCROOT: \symbian\7.0s\series60_v21\

    That's it my friends!
    I solved the problem!

    It's about carbide.vs:

Language of Windows on my computer is English. I changed it to Turkish by "Regional and Language Options" in "Control Panel". Now, i changed it back to English and the problem disappeared!!!

    Thanks to mitts!
    You rock my friend!!!
