Hi, I am a new user here. Just got my E65 phone.
When i try to install a theme, there is an error message: Certificate Error.
I read somewhere that I need to off the certificate check, but I totaly have no clue where to check it off.

Hi,
Set "Software Installation" to "All".Originally Posted by h_sumilo
You may find this setting on your phone under:
Menu->Tools->App. manager->Options->Settings
I hope this will help you.

Hi Kiran,
Thanks a lot for the solution. Finally I am able to install the themes.
We have a Class 3 - Java Object Sign cert from Verisign that we use for signing our J2ME application. Signed apps install fine on other Nokia devices like Razr V3xx. But we get the same Certificate Error described above when we try to install on the Nokia E65. Setting Software Installation to All does solve the problem but is this solution recommended by Nokia?
Note: We upgraded the firmware from 1.0633.18.01 to 2.0633.65.01 and no longer get the Certificate Error. Strangely, we have one device with 1.0633.18.01 firmware that does not have the Certificate Error problem.

This problem appears at my E65 too. Even if I set the software installation to "all" and online certif. check to "off", I still find the message "certificate error, contact the application supplier...". Do you guys know how should I do? Thanks.
In Carbide ui... when your theme is finished, go to Create new deployment package, After you have Defined settings and content click next. select sign by, next to the Key pair bar click modify. click make keys fill in the required spaces, select generate... next to private key file and certificate file; you can find the keys and certificates in your user files... type a password if you made one -for the specific key- and click save. where it says key pair, select your key and click finish...
Worked on my 5700
