E65 usability problem

1. I access the contacts
2. I find the one I want to call
3. I hit the "Call" key
4. I close the lid

Result: the call does not go through

How can I change this?

Did you tried this behaviour after connecting a head set to your phone? I dont have an E65 to try, but is any alert messages comming, while you close the slider during a call?

It would be better if you may raise your question in Nokia end user support section. Nokia end user products support questions should be addressed at Nokia's online support sites http://www.nokia.com/support .

Also there are some localized product support forums and one that is monitored and where you can get attention and solutions http://discussions.nokia.co.uk/discussions/. If you post your concerns there you may get a response from there.

How can I change this?

As soon as you hit the call button, hit the options soft key but do not select any options in the list. While you are on the options menu, close the slide. The call will be still active with this workaround.
