How to create new view?

I'm using carbidevs+visualstudio2003, I created a new "view based application" symbian project, it has two views when created, each view related to the navigation bar above, I've created a new tag in the navigation bar and hope to create a new view related to it, I've copied all files related to "view2" and created a "view3" by changing the 2s to 3s and included the needed files in .mmp, it's successful after compiling, and can be opened in the emulator, and can successfully change from view1 to view2, but by further switching the navigation tag(to view3), the program breaks down. Are there any changes supposed to be made to solve this problem? Thanks! Sorry about my English!

Did you change these files:

- MMP file: add the new view/container cpp file name
- AppUi: add the code for the new view class
- newly created view class: use a unique view id
- RSS: create the AVKON_VIEW and related resource for the new view and that change make in the newly created view class.

After doing all these it should work.

if you have created tab then you need to add in
RESOURCE NAVI_DECORATOR resource also and set
tab_width = EAknTabWidthWithTwoTabs; to EAknTabWidthWithThreeTabs

thanks all! the problem is solved. and by the way, I think I should set EAknTabWidthWithTwoTabs to OneTab instead of Three, because "Three" makes the tab even more smaller!
