Forum Nokia is excited to announce the Mobile Developers Wiki that will provide mobile developers and Nokia with a site where they can share content. This Wiki will be a community effort and cooperation with all developers will make it a success in providing example codes, How To’s and various other forms of documentation.

A Wiki will complement the Forum Nokia Discussion boards in peer support with our discussion boards providing a place to share information quickly. I consider it like hollering over the cube wall for assistance from your fellow developer only talking loud enough to be heard worldwide. The Wiki provides a source of shared information like a public library for our community.

While Forum Nokia champions will be involved with the Wiki as will Nokia engineers and developers, it will be the average developer who can contribute and benefit the most from this Wiki.

I will manage this site and hope to bring together the same cooperation and community spirit currently shard on the discussion boards. In the future I plan to set up a board consisting of mobile developers world wide to made decisions regarding the content and changes to the Wiki.

Visit your Wiki and don’t be afraid to give me your feedback. Like any community it is only with individual’s involvement does a community grow and become strong.
