processing Recorded data

Hello all,

Is it possible in J2ME to record sounds to a buffer or to a file? I need to read the data bytes of this recorded sound for more processing. What platform supports that and can that be done using nokia6020?

Nokia 6020 only supports Java development. As it is quite old device, it does not support audio recording from Java ME, even though it supports Mobile Media API (JSR-135)
