Changing the "From" field in SIP header to include display-name

I'm wondering if it is possible to write a program to change the FROM field in the SIP-header of the standard VoIP-client to include display-name information?

The "public user name" seems settings seems to only specify the SIP-URI part of the address and I've not succeeded to find a method to set a display name manually, through Client Provisioning or using a DM-solution. My last hope is to be able to write a small symbian program to do this.

Any help is highly appreciated.

I have the same problem. I wonder if it is possible to set the "Display Info"-Field some how?
Did anyone find a fix to this problem?

Is ther any news on this subject?

My VoIP provider only accept calls with an specific From: header which should look like this "Phone number" <siphonenumber@voiprovider.com>, but it's not posible to add the text field in the from field, thing that is made by any SIP client but Nokia's one.
