N70 and Alarm Clock

Hi Guys.

I have a quick question about the Alarm Clock feature on the N70. When I set it (say for example) to 6am. The alarm goes off at 6am, as expected, and then the alarm is cancelled, never to go off again unless I manually reset it.

Is there a way to have the alarm go off at 6am every morning, or only on mornings that I choose? If there is, I can't find it. Sorry for sounding like a newb, this phone has way more features to get my head around than my last MC60 Siemens rubbish... but at least on that I could get the alarm to go off without having to reset it all the time.

Dunno why S60 phones are not implementing any repeats with their alarms, though the alarm server in general supports this feature, thus only way to get around, it to build your own alarm application, or find one made by somebody else.

You likely can do this through the Calendar (create a recurring event/Meeting with an alarm - hopefully not at 6am though:-).
I do not have N70 at hand right now, so I cannot verify

And as of S60 3rd Edition Featurep Pack 1 (in devices like 6290, N76, N95, E90, etc.) there are multiple recurring alarms you can set using the Clock app.

On earlier versions, you have to use a separate alarm clock app, which you can try locate through, e.g., the software catalogs from http://www.my-symbian.com
