    Hi,

Do you know how hard is to get MultimediaDD capability enabled certificate from Symbian signed?

I need play and record sound during an active call.

    Thanks.

Are you sure that you need MultimediaDD? From my understanding, if you don't set the priority, you don't need MultimediaDD.

Capability: MultimediaDD For applications that do not have the MultimediaDD capability, any supplied priority level (aPriority) or priority preference (aPref) will be ignored.

In s60 3rd edition priority is only set if you have this capability and if you need play a sound in active call you need set.

    That's the reason.

IC. I am not sure how difficult it is. It should not be as difficult as others manufacturers capabilities, e.g. TCB, AllFiles and DRM (for sure).
So, give it a try. If you have a good business reason, you may get approval.
