I use a Nokia 6610i and connect it with my Laptop thru IR. I regularly (every 3 days or so) backup my phone using PC-Suite 6.82.22.0. The most important things for me are Contacts, Calendar, Messages and Images (in that order of importance). Every time I backup the phone into the .nbu files, the backup log reassuringly tells me that *all* these have been backed up from my phone.![]()
Recently some information accidentally got deleted from my phonebook and calendar.I was confident that I can get them restored from my ever-trustworthy backups. I fired up the Restore utility, confidently selected the last backup and hit the RESTORE button.

After it completed, I sadly found out that everythinig EXCEPT the calendar has been restored.![]()
To add to the agony, the restore utility has CLEANLY wiped off ALL the reminders, birthdays & anniversaries from my calendar. Now my calendar is absolutely empty like the Sahara desert.![]()
Is there any way to get the backed up calendar (.nbu) back in to the phone, without causing any other damage?![]()
