Are there known conflicts between java and symbian?

I follow some threads and there seems to be some problem for java app running on certain symbian devices.

Although the problems are not quite the same but there have one thing in common: java app on symbian system.
Some even suggested to upgrade the phones firmware to settle the problem.

Can someone with a higher authority shed some light on this!

I do not know exactly what you mean with this. My guess is, it is something in your code.
