Is there a way to use the Nokia 30 without the need to develop software in the remote application connected to the Nokia 30?

Yes there is. There are 3 general-purpose input and 5 general-purpose output pins on the M2M System Connector of the Nokia 30. Either digital or analog signals can be supplied to the input pins; the output pins are for digital signals only. These pins can be used by the server application or alternatively by a mobile handset through the Remote I/O Control service offered by the Nokia 30 API.
