Hi,
When content is with forward lock Devices Agent will not allow to forward it further. In addition to this in S60 Phones I observed that content encrypted also.

Thanks a lot. But what kind of encryption does S60 take to encrypt content? It seems that the OMA DRM specifications do not specify the encryption method which device should take.
hi,
That is internal to phone. in S60 it is AES128.

I am new to DRM and have a query regarding decoding of encoded DRM message.
If the DRM message is encoded then on device who will take the responsibility to decode the message?(I mean DRM downloader or DRM Agent or someone else)
Hi,
WELCOME TO FORUM NOKIA DISCUSSION BOARDS
DRM agent in your device takes care of this.

Thanks for reply.
I have one more question regarding forward locked message. From DRM Agent perspective how can I restrict, let suppose file manager application from sending DRM message by any means(Bluetooth, IrDa, etc.,).
Regards,
Ramakrishna
AFAIK, the built-in file manager or other built-in apps and file sending/forwarding APIs already do honor OMA forward-locking (i.e., do not allow the user to send/forward forward-locked content). That is, kind of, the whole idea (point) behind OMA forward-locking in the first place.![]()
