6630 MMAPI

I developed an application that download completely a 3gp and then play it on j2me devices.

I try it on nokia N73, 7610, and 6600. I download and play many videos and all go on right.

When I try to download and play some 3gp on 6630 it can't prefetch the player correctly and the application go in memory problem. The video play only first second or not play completely.

I search for problem in my application but I did't find any problem or bug.

Then I try to install a nokia mmapi example:
http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.n..._v1_0.zip.html

I replace the 3gp video in res directory with my own 3gp (488kb size).
Then I run the mediasampler and it stop after two plays...

What are the problems in 6630 devices? I don't understand.

Please make sure that you have enough memory remaining in your phone. Also check whether there is any other applications running in the back ground. Are you getting outofmemory, that may cause the problem?

No application running in background.
No exception is generated during prefetch or start/play video.

The video start only for some milliseconds and generate "end of media" event

6630 firmware ver. 4.03.18 (04/03/05) RM-1

May be you should give a try in another 6630 with an updated firmware version. I dont have a 6630 right now to give a try.
