Cannot receive calls while GPRS is running

I have developed an application that uses GPRS for mobiles in J2ME it works fine in every set and all service providers but in one service provider it does not receive calls while GPRS is running. My application is constantly sending feed request after every 2 seconds but if i increase the delay it works fine in this service provider as well. I want to know that is there any way to set my application in a way that it will work fine in the (problem makin) service provider as well for delay of 2 seconds.

Does the app behave this way with all the handsets on this operator, or only one handset model? Which models are we talking about?
Which operator has these problems?

Have you tested it enough many times, that you know that you can reproduce the problem consistently (ruling out bad luck :-)

that seems to be a serious problem if it happens for all the handsets with the particular operator.I have tested the same here with my operator but it seems ok.

i think the problem with incoming calls only not for outgoing call.

yeah on the same set i ve tested with all other providers but only this provider is creating problem.

Now i got clues from different forums where people are discussing sort of same thing that while transferring (uploading or downloading) data u cannot recieve calls but when GPRS is connected and something is not being transferred then it will allow to recieve calls. My Application is constantly uploading requests and downloading responses after every 2 seconds. I want to know is dere any way to get incoming call notification so i can pause my midlet.

GPRS devices rarely offer to support data packet AND circuit switc at the same time.When you initiate a call or receive a call, the device suspend the data connection and resume it when the call is terminated. This is less likely the case in 3G networks. But I would suggest to increase the time between two transferts, maybe by maiking some kind of buffering for the data to be transmited

Which device model are you talking about? Or does this affect all devices connected to the operator you mention above?
