S60 Rotation Example

Hi,

in the new S60_Platform_Custom_UI_and_Screen_Rotation_Example_v1_0_en.zip
source example, when switching to another application (the example stays in background), the rotation is not kept ? is it possible to keep it for the other applications ?

you could at least work-around the problem, by monitoring the focus events and the last-set-rotation, and making sure you set it on everytime the app gets focus back...

thanks , but the application crashes when running under the emulator ...

ok, in my experiments on the topic, I have never got the rotation working on the emulator, though it works well on the phone.

Have to add though, that I haven't checked the example, but was using the functions provided by Appui class, as well as can not remember if I actually did any tests on 3250 device.

I dont know which version of the example you are using , but there is a link on the forum's main page i.e. www.forum.nokia.com with the example S60 Platform: Custom UI and Screen Rotation Example posted on 11-Jun-2007 which was yesterday.

You could try it out.
