AudioStreamExample recording problems

I tried recording audio using the AudioStreamExample on a Nokia5500.
However I noticed jumps in the audio when I played it back.
As it seems Nokia5500 isn't fast enought to deal with the data.
I also tried using the AMR-NB encoding but it didn't help.
What can I do to get clear audio without any skips/jumps.

I also tried to installe the wavegen/Audio Output Stream Example but the Nokia5500 didn't let me install it. I always got the message:
"Unable to install a protected application from an untrusted source".
What am I doing wrong?

Ok I finally found the solution.
There are two S60 3rd edition phones Nokia 3250 and Nokia 5500 that need special values for the buffer size.
These values can be found here

but Nokia messed up the formatting of the table so it's kind of hard to find out what they are trying to say.
So here are the values (without guarantee):
Nokia 3250 S60 3rd edition: PCM: 1600 bytes, AMR-NB: 12.2 kbps
Nokia 3250 S60 2nd edition: PCM: 4096 bytes, AMR-NB: 5.15 kbps
Nokia 5500: PCM: 320 bytes, AMR-NB: 5.15 kbps
I only tested PCM on Nokia 5500 and it worked.
