    Hi all,

I'm getting "DeviceName Unresolveable" error in Cisco Proxy server while registering the Series 60V3 phone SIP profile with Cisco Communication Manager.I found this because of registration request contains Supported header with sec-agree.I set the "security use" no but i'm still having this header in Register message. Please any one let me know how can i remove this from SIP Register request.

For example registration request contains these headers at the moment ...

    REGISTER sip:10.1.5.7;transport=TCP SIP/2.0
    Route: <sip:10.1.5.7;lr;transport=TCP>
    Via: SIP/2.0/TCP 10.1.5.7:5060;branch=z9hG4bKqo888fgvchhc7e0ij727dk6
    Contact: <sip:5000@10.1.5.7;transport=TCP>;expires=0
    To: sip:5000@10.1.5.7
    From: sip:5000@10.1.5.7;tag=0uro8fhu8phc6pftkd63
    Call-ID: cIi4fBqHoIcmIadcSS-ueaourjJLUJ
    CSeq: 2111 REGISTER
    Supported: sec-agree
    Max-Forwards: 70
    Content-Length: 0

i want to remove "Supported: sec-agree" header from request.

    Thanks in advance,

    haroon

You can view these header by using tcpdump (a Linux utility) on a computer placed in between the PBX and the phone. Other packet dumpers are likely to be able to do the same on other platforms.

    I use "tcpdump -I <interface> -s 1000 -vv host <PBX IP>" for it.
