PC suite 5.0

Hi,
When I use infrared to connect my 7210 phone, the nokia connection manager can find the device, but nokia pc suite still display " no phone connected ". pls. help me to find the reason.

I AM ALSO HAVING THIS PROBLEM, my laptop has a built in IR port, the software does detect the phone but when i click on reply it says something an API error or something, i took it round to my friends house and their 8210 works fine with the same software????????
