Did I encounter a Gateway bug ?

I have a test page with a simple select. If the name contains a dot ".", I get an error message on the phones (see below). WML specs say that name is an NMTOKEN. Is there a reason why this fails ?

Could you send us the WML code you are using in your test page so that we can test it? Does this error come with every Nokia phone model or just with some specific model?
