The Nokia 20 cannot withstand very high power surges and that is why it cannot be connected directly to a car battery. The Nokia 20 can be used in a car if the power input is through the application module. The power input range for the Nokia 20 is from an absolute minimum of 6.5 Vdc to an absolute maximum of 15.6 Vdc.
