N95 Runners edition

I want a an N95 with a application for running like the Garmin forerunner can do. Measuring heartrate via communication with a heartrate belt, calculation of velocities, tracklength, phantomchase, personal training profiles updated with th PC etc...

These options become realizable with the n95. Is there a software?

If there is a heart rate belt with Bluetooth connectivity, then one just needs a software to do the heavy lifting (and you running of course).

There is SportsTracker (from Nokia Betalabs), which does many of the things you want (except the HR measurement)

Yes exactly! The sportstracker would need such a BT- heartrate belt device. It could then become one's personal trainer! I mean software for the cell phone could then easily outcompete other watch - based devices and would be a real killer application for everyone who has to decide which cell phone to buy.

Imagine you were running on the track an the phone could give you, while you are hearing your favorite song with a BT headset, small acoustical hints about if you are faster than the last time, or then Freddy, your neighbor, and give small noises defining your heart rate.

It could automatically detect that you are on a 400 m track and then more precise calculate the distances, telling you "You have entered a training track". Ther could be different personal trainer avatars like Mandy telling you sweetly "You are so fast today Mike" or Bruce "Common! That can be faster!" etc...

Thats what I would love to have implemented in the Sportstracker.
