    Heya's!

Ok, first of all I'll get the specifics out the way. The phone is a standard Nokia 6230.

My problem/question is this: I've had this phone for a while, and have upgraded a few times and have no use for it anymore. So I wish to send it to a friend in New Zealand for his own use (I live in Australia). My question is, will it work properly for him? I have absolutely no idea and really just want to help him out >_< He's with Vodafone, if that info helps at all.

    Thanks in advance?
Any questions to help you out are more than welcome!

Hi Flare29! Welcome to Nokia Developer discussion Boards!!

Just to add what Mateen suggested :: Nokia 6230 supports GSM 1900, GSM 1800 & GSM 900. Please make sure that the network operator in NewZealand support any of these bands so that your friend could also use it.

Also would like to suggest that, Nokia end user products support questions should be addressed at Nokia's online support sites http://www.nokia.com/support .
Also there are some localized product support forums and one that is monitored and where you can get attention and solutions http://discussions.nokia.co.uk/discussions/. If you post your concerns there you may get a response from there.

    Regards
    Gopal

Thanks so far, and thanks for the welcome. I'll have a walk into a store sometime soon I think, and ask them as well.
