    hi everyone...

    i read that the network connection and snapshot alert can be disabled...

    and Messaging alert can be disabled?? im developing a project that i must read an sms , take the parameters from that sms and then send back a mms, with a snapshot picture... but all this must be done with no human interaction because the project propose is to take pictures remotely (for example baby Surveillance system).

    I go through your problem, Of course you can do this thing in following way..
    1:By using MTM
    2:By Using socket

    For MTM and Socket message there are lots of thread available. you can search in forum silient message.

    you are saying that is possible to send mms using MTM or sockets ... i look for an example and i didnt found anything in java ... do you know some examples on the internet ? i must get ride of that Messaging Alert "Application wants to send an MMS! Accept? Yes or No"

    if not my project is ruined

    Hi Paulo,

    I have no idea about in J2ME. But It is easly possible in Symbian C++.
    I'll try to find out solution in J2ME..At my level best!

    On the phones I have used, always allowed (or even ask once per session) is not available for Messaging functional group (even for signed MIDlets).

    Some versions of the MIDP specification have a little different approach for this, but the situation on real phones is like this.
