Logging usage on Series 40 phones

Does anyone know if it is possible to capture/log actual usage on Series 40 devices? It there an application that you could load on the phone to monitor and compile what tasks or applications users use the most as part of their daily usage? [For research purposes as part of a test group] Thanks.

in my opinion it s not possible to do this.
The main reason is that you can t put any running application in background.
