Problem in establishing connection between mobile and PC

Actually i want to develop an application like Nokia PC siute in J2EE/.NET.
And i am getting problem in how to connect my Nokia 6610 to my PC via serial cable. if you have some code for this then please help me.
And if u have some reference material then plz send me links.
