But that file I must create for having the sms on the emulator?

When you have your emulator running. Goto tools -> Utilities in your menu bar. Then you will see alot of events that you can trigger. Under "messaging events" you can see "SMS". Hook the checkbox and click send

Ohh sorry. Which SDK are you working with?

I havent worked with any pre-3rd edition. So it might be different. Hopefully somebody else here know...
