6310i connection using IrDa and Mac OS 9.2

Hi, i've just bought a 6310i, and want to use the IrDa port, with my Mac G3 Powerbook, running Mac OS 9.2, but cant seem to get a connection, is there anyone who knows the correct modem script for this and if so where can i get it .thanks.
p.s i am desperate to find this !
