Dialing a phone

Here's one for everyone. Is there a way to code a deckcard so a person can dail a phone number from within a wap site? E.g. just like clicking on a link but instead of going to a URL it dials a phone number.

Use this as an example inside an anchor tag:

href="wtai://up/mc;14085551212" title="Call">1-408-555-1212

Ok I understand the href command as it works with URL's but Steve your example shows "wtai://up/mc;" within the href command. just what do these "wtai" "up" "mc" relate to? what part of this tells the phone to dial a number rather then go to a URL?
