tp-pid replace SM types ?

In the SMS spec there are 7 replace message types.

What are these types and is there a real difference in the ways phones handle the different types ?

As it's not specified at all, I would suspect that there is no difference at all. You're welcome to prove this wrong, but I really suspect that when originally specified, there was some future plan for these types, and that's why there are so many, and yet no explanation.
