how to access the map api's using j2me. i try to develope an application to display the maps who provide the maps freely?

Not many, if any, provide accurate digital/vector maps for free unconditionally. Google provides maps for free for non-commercial use (you can't sell an app that uses Google Maps, if you don't want to pay).
