P2P NFC connection pb on 6131

Hi!

When trying to exchange data using P2P connection via NFC on 6131, I got a pb:

• at the first connection, no pb!
• but when I try once again to connect telephones, I get a "send failed (errorcode=11)" on the initiator side. I have to wait for a moment (I don't know if its a timeout, or the fact that I close the application) until it works again.

1. Do you have any idea of what I'm doing wrong?
2. do you know where to find what means "errorcode=11"?

Hi,

The error code you got means just that send is failed. You get that error at least when initiator only sends data but does not receive.

I made an example MIDlet about P2P connection that you might want to check and see if that can help you with the problem.

Simple NFCIP peer to peer chat

You should check at least following things:

• Always open new connection when new touch is made, same connection cannot be recycled between two touches.
• Initiator first sends and then receives the data and target first receives and then sends the data. You can have multiple send receive pairs in one touch.
• Close the connection after send receive pair.

I have now a clearer idea of what's going wrong.
The error happens when the application is quitted with the notifyDestroyed() function (I do not forget to close the connection). It does not happend when leaving the whole MIDlet suite.
