How to enable-disable loudspeaker during active GSM call

Hi,

I am developing an application using which all the features of telephone can be achieved on E51 and N95. Currently i am facing an issue for enabling/disabling loudspeaker mode during active GSM call.

I tried out two threads

In this thread i am not what to provide as an argument in CAudioOutput::NewL(***);

I am not sure whether it is really possible to enable/disable loudspeaker during active GSM call for S60 3Ed Fp1. If possible then kindly show me the way to achieve it.

Hi,

Actually I have the same problem - can't enable/disable loudspeaker for 3.0 and 3.1 SDK.

I'm using AudioProxySever v 2.43. First of all loudspeaker can't be enabled in the example given with this APS plugin (I tested).

Also I tried AudioRouting API, but it doesn't work too.

Could anybody propose other ways to resolve this problem ??

Check Wiki API-Plug-ins, I made an example for this use case, and it has been tested to work also.

Thanks a lot!

I have tested your example, it works on 3.1 (Nokia E51).
But I need also support routing for 3.0 devices (at that moment it is E61i), but VAS plugin is only for 3.1 and upper. And APS doesn't allow to enable loudspeaker as I said.

So may be you can suggest another way to fix this bug.
(I tried different versions of APS and AudioRouting API, but no result). Also I think there is solution to do that, because e.g. fring client works with loudspeaker succesfully on 3.0

I found the same problem discussion on forum

I have tried the latest version of APS 2.4.3 and it works.
