    Hi,

    Anyone know how to install a applet into a locked secure element?
    To install you need to obtain the MAC, KEK, ENC keys, am i correct?
    And how to obtain these keys?

    You will need to find a contact at Nokia to send you an 'Unlock Midlet'
    or purchase an unlocked phone from http://toptunniste.fi

    if you search this forums you should find more information about this process.

    Greetings,

    Using Omnikey Cardman 5231 reader and JCOP Tools, we are trying to install an applet on to the secure element of Nokia 6131 NFC

    1. We were able to successfully install the unlock midlet.
    2. We got the ATR message from

    --Waiting for card...

    ATR=3B 88 80 01 00 73 C8 40 13 00 90 00 71 ;....s.@....q

    Next init-update, We are getting error in this step
    cm>init-update 42

    It is NOT possible to install anything into a locked SE yourself. You have to contact a network operator to do so. If you tried to unlock your phone it is not sufficient to just install the unlock MIDlet. You will need SIM Card with an active GPRS Data subscription to successfully run the MIDlet.
