I've read the Symbian OS Platform Security FAQ section on becoming a Symbian Self Certifier. My company's application requires sensitive capabilities, so we need Nokia to support granting the Self Certifier rights. The FAQ says to send a "capability request form" to nokia.testing@nokia.com. Where can I find the capability request form?

    Thanks,

I think you have misunderstood something in there. Seft certifiers are companies that can certify tehir own products, they need to have rather good tract record and I assume they are monitors vigorously. The sensitive cabability thing, just requires you to send the request and they'll see if it can be granted, then you would still need to go through symbian-signing for the application.

I think I understand the self certification concept. We've been through the certification process already and gotten our product certified by going through a test house. We just want to avoid going through the delays and expenses of going through a test house every time we do a release, so becoming a self certifier makes sense.

I'm starting the process of becoming a Symbian Self Certifier, but according the this FAQ I need to send in a particular form, so I'm trying to find out how to get the form.

You may consider using Google, it is the second hit if you search for Capability request form site:nokia.com. You may also check the 3rd hit (the wiki). It is not sure that you need Nokia (or other manufacturer) at all.
