hello guys i am planning to do a video capture software for symbian phones... but there is a problem i dont have a symbian based phone... so can i emulate a symbian phone in my computer...is there such a software available?????i am sorry if this is a stupid question....

Download the Symbian SDK, there is an emulator in there. I'd have to say though that eventually you will have to test your software on the actual device.

the emulator can't substitute the phone, cause it doesn't reproduce device's behaviour perfectly: sometimes the application works flawlessly on it, but not on the device.
That's why it's important to have the target phone to test the application, as pbmau rightly pointed.
