BUG? Writing to serial port hangs

Hello,

This has been mentioned earlier under a thread with subject "RS232 port in Nokia9210", but to 'crystalify' the real issue...

When trying to write to a serial port (yes, I've disabled PLP to get the port open at all) the app hangs. This happens as well with my own app as with the SerialChat example from the SDK.

Anyone got this working (with Java) or is it really a bug?

Are you using 9210 or 9210i?
It does not work on 9210 but ive heard that there is a possibility to run serial chat properly on 9210i.
