Job description：

1.Symbian/Mobile Linux SW Designer

We are looking for experienced embedded SW Designers in smartphone SW development projects in Beijing. In this position, you will be responsible for smartphone product SW development. Also, communication and co-operation with other teams and experts working in multi-site-environment is an important part of your day-to-day work.

We expect you to be professional in object oriented software development, experienced and interested in Symbian OS or Mobile Linux and mobile technologies and eager to learn more. Great advantages are practical know-how from baseporting, mobile multimedia, audio and telephony adaptations and system integration. Being familiar with SW development tools such as CodeWarrior, Synergy Change and Synergy CM is appreciated as well.

To succeed in this position you should have M.Sc/B.Sc or equivalent degree in software engineering and at least 1+ years of work experience in embedded software projects for mobile devices. Capability to work efficiently in multi-site environment using English when communicating is utmost important.

2.Symbian SW Technical Lead

We are looking for experienced embedded SW Designers to rise to the challenge of becoming SW Technical Leads in Symbian smartphone SW development projects in Beijing. In this position, you will be responsible for leading the technical tasks of smartphone product SW development such as software architecture and requirements definition, and driving and monitoring the work of SW development teams. Also, communication and co-operation with partners is an important part of your day-to-day work.

We expect you to be professional in object oriented software development, experienced and interested in Symbian OS and mobile technologies and eager to learn more. Great advantages are practical know-how from baseporting, mobile multimedia, audio and telephony adaptations and system integration. Being familiar with SW development tools such as CodeWarrior, Synergy Change and Synergy CM is appreciated as well.

In this role you will be responsible for planning, steering and tracking the work of the SW teams. Furthermore, communication and co-operation with both internal stakeholders and external customer and partners is an important part of your day-to-day work. This position offers you an excellent possibility to take responsibility and gain valued experience and expertise in mobile product development.

To succeed in this position, you should have 3+ years of experience on embedded SW development (Symbian OS is especially appreciated), good grasp of mobile product development lifecycle and experience in driving projects in co-operation with development teams and the customer. Fluent written and spoken English is a must to succeed in this international position. On a personal level, your most valuable characteristics are the ability to communicate efficiently in a multi-cultural environment and strong leadership capabilities. Suitable education is M.Sc. or equivalent in software engineering or computer science.

Fluent written and spoken English is a must to succeed in this international position. On a personal level, your most valuable characteristics are the ability to communicate efficiently in a multi-cultural environment and strong leadership capabilities. Being familiar with Symbian, 2G/3G telephony stack, Embedded SW project management, release planning, resourcing & development project management. Suitable education is M.Sc. or B.Sc. or equivalent in software engineering or computer science.
