sms sending security in latest mobiles

hi all

i am trying to send and receive messages using gnokii software and using nokia 3100. i am able read sms receive calls dial calls but unable to send sms. i.e. my send sms is not working. i am using a data cable for the purpose of connecting the phone to comp.

i feel that there is inbuilt security that restricts the send sms. If it is true

what are the ways to disable it?

else what would be other problem that i am unable to send sms ?

Is the SMS message center defined on you phone?

i tried sending the sms specifying the message center number in gnokii but still it didn't work. the message center number is defined but it still doesn't send sms.
please help me

I highly recommend to contact Gnokii support. Here, we are in the Developer forums, for Java MIDlets. Make sure you have a connection at all (like original Nokia CA-42 USB data cable + driver and not a DKU-5 etc.) For details, please, see Gnokii support…
