All I have in the zip file is
    1) PDF for the user manual
    2) .SISX
    3) .PKG

I'm getting rejected with a rather useless error message saying my package is incorrect please check it. Unfortunately it leaves me no clues as the problem with the package plus it makes me go through all the monkey hoops of filling out the forms again just to get rejected again.

Is it getting rejected because of the PDF file not being supported as a user manual?

I verified that the SISX is signed with our Publisher ID.

    Hi,

Make sure that your .Sisx file is not signed with Developer Certificate. And it would be good if you use .Sis file instead of .Sisx for submission.
I hope you have used UIDs from Protected range.

This site has been useful to me on occasion.

It does pick up some issues that don't stop install but do stop submission to SS.

Yeah we are using a protected UID and the .sisx file is signed with our Publisher ID.

Right now the sony ericsson pc suite snagged the .sis extension while the Nokia suite snagged the .sisx. I rather not change the extension if I don't need to given that Nokia clearly indicates that .sisx is their extension of v9.0 installers. Let me try out that website above and see what turns up.

The only offense the site picks up is:

"One (or more!) of the executables this package contains has the same Secure ID as the package UID. While technically allowed, and commonly done this is a stylistic mistake. The package UID and executables Secure IDs are different things. A SIS file only has one package UID, but may have several executables, each with a unique SID."

I'll go take care of this and see if this is what's causing the rejection.

Post the contents and we could have a look, though you might be just as quick to email Symbian signed directly. I had a similar issue a little while ago and they were quite quick to respond.

SIS-file in the submitted zip-package should have .sis -extension instead of .sisx. Zip-packages including an application with .sisx -extension won't go through.
