从2007年第4季度开始，Symbian Signed 有了一些新改进，引进了简化的、新的应用程序签名选项，并与新的证书颁发机构合作(费用更低：人民币1600元)。无论您在为Symbina OS开发什么应用程序，也不管它是商业还是非商业的，这种改变都将简化您的软件前面和部署工作。

Symbian Signed 将提供了如下三种签名选项：
(1) Open Signed: 这是一种基于开发者者证书(Developer Certificate)的签名方式，包括开发人员提供一个全新的在线签名选项，而不需要发布者ID(Publisher ID，即：Symbian认证证书)。

(2) Express Signed: 这个精简的签名选项不要求进行独立测试。

(3) Certified Signed: 这是一个主流签名选项，要求由Symbian授权的Test House进行独立测试。
同时，最大程度地减少了需要设备制造商批准才能使用的能力，而对于确实需要设备制造商批准的应用程序，制定了更简单且统一的申请流程。

现在，只有Cerified Signed 需要独立测试，然而，所有应用程序都应能够通过相关的测试标准。Symbian Signed测试标准经过了修订和更新，可以在Symbian Signed网站：www.symbiansigned.com 找到。

Express Signed中对测试的要求是什么意思？
客户自己测试通过即可？是不是客户把测试项全部写Pass就可以得到Signed?

如果Express Signed不是太费劲的话，我们考虑去申请了。

Exactly, your understanding is correct. A developer is responsible for yourself. Nobody else will help you to test your application. However, for preinstallation, you still need to pass Certified signed.
