    what is the power usage of bluetooth and wireless impact on the phone.leaving them on will kill the battery

    so doing sip or voip is not practical isn't? either you have to walk with your charger

    Hi,

    we're doing SIP 24hrs/7days/week over UMTS (not WLAN) and with this extensive use the user can live day as a maximum... SO having power adapter in both work and home is necessary))

    VoIP & streaming video and other real-time application developers should set the U-APSD accordingly for WLAN:

    RSocket::SetOpt(KSoIpTOS, KProtocolInetIp, voice) (requires Network control in DevCert).

    This will triple the talk time - no impact for stand-by (and should not be used for SIP keep alive messages) and shorten latency as well (as WLAN AP is not buffering packets).
