9210 & Macromedia Director

Hi I am trying to control a 9210 from Macromedia Director using the DirectCommunication Xtra. I can send & receive strings from/to serial port. The 9210 "answers" to every command with single characters (ASCII 255,252.240) depending on the Baud rate. I send something and get 9 times the character with a break of 1 sec between.

I guess that since I at least get something, the port connection is OK. What does it mean then? What is wrong?

You can post questions related to Symbian connectivity at this website to Symbian Discussion Board. When controlling the phone from PC using supported SDK or AT-commands is recommended.
