Paging WAP gurus

Hello, I'm using Nokia WAP Server and an ASP-enabled web server to serve my WAP-site. I need a way to call up a specific phone (a 7110) and notify the owner that there is an alarm. I don't want to use SMS as I need to be sure the alarm is transmitted immediately. Is there a way to get to the modem, call the phone and establish a connection without the phone having to hang up and call back to the gateway? Is there another way to do this?

AFAIK SMS is the only method for WAP push. To do what you're describing you'll need to wait for a packet data bearer and WAP 1.2.
